In October, Jon Erik was one out of four to be awarded the Vest-Agder Fylkeskommune’s culture grant.
On October 22nd 2019, the local newspaper in Kristiansand wrote:
Jon Erik Myre established Kanon Produksjon in the summer 2019 together with colleague André Lassemo. Kanon Produksjon will continue to develop stage productions, in cooperation with Teateret and The Vest-Agder museum, among others.
The free theatre group is currently working on funding for three productions scheduled for 2020. He has also started the work of producing a family play at Setesdalsbanen in the summer of 2021. Myre was born in 1993, grew up in Kristiansand and is now based in Oslo. In addition to beeing a member of the Norwegian Actors’ Equity Association, Myre is also a musician.
