A Norwegian drama series depicting desperate power struggles within the Norwegian Labour Party in the late 1970s, based on truth, lies, and poor memory.
Today, February 11th, marks the release of the final episode of the NRK series “POWER PLAY“. Here, Jon Erik portrays the role of Christian Vennerød, one of the editors of Gateavisa, alongside, among others, Audun Engh and Mari Toft, portrayed by Arjan Nilsen and Hibba Najeeb. The anarchistic editorial staff located in Hjelms gate carried out perhaps their most well-known action in 1981 when they decided to analyze the trash of the two prime minister candidates, Gro Harlem Brundtland and Kåre Willoch, and make headlines out of it.
The series is written by Silje Storstein, Kristin Grue, and Johan Fasting, with the episode directed by Stian Kristiansen. With this episode, the 12-episode series comes to an end.
