POWER PLAY – Based on truth, lies and poor memory

Desperate power struggles in the Norwegian Labour Party in the late 1970s. Norwegian drama series based on truth, lies, and poor memory. Today, on February 11th, the final episode of the NRK series «POWER «PLAY is finally released. Here, Jon Erik plays the role of Christian Vennerød, one of the editors of Gateavisa.

Warsailors on tour

In July and August, D/S Hestmanden – Norwegian War Sailors Museum will be on a voyage, and THE LUCKY SHIP will be part of the journey. The ship will visit Langesund, Horten, and Moss, before staying in Oslo for almost two weeks. On the return in August, stops include Risør, Sandefjord, and finally Mandal. The performance will be staged in all ports.

The Lucky Ship – a war sailor story

In September, Kanon Produksjon returns to Kristiansand, this time with a world premiere. The Lucky Ship explores a year aboard the cargo ship D/S Hestmanden, just as World War II hits Norway. The production is a collaboration with the Norwegian War Sailors Museum at Vest-Agder Museum and is performed below deck on the Hestmanden.

The Ash Lad and the Quest for the Crown Jewels

Also in July, you can find Jon Erik in Hunderfossen Adventure Park. During the high season, the performance The Ash Lad and the Quest for the Crown Jewels is staged, where he plays both the King and the Big Troll.

Jon Erik will be in this performance from July 11 to 18 and from July 26 to August 2.

“Skit eller kanel” at the conference “Den mangfaldige nynorsken”

On Thursday, April 28, Kulturtanken hosted a network gathering and conference focusing on the role of the Nynorsk language in the Cultural Rucksack, specifically, and in art and cultural communication for children and youth more generally. Together with Richard Olsen, Jon Erik presented an excerpt from the production “Skit eller kanel” (Knowing chalk from cheese).

Natt i Nisseland

After a year in travel quarantine, Natt i Nisseland (Night in Santaland) is finally back! For the 4th time, Jon Erik returns to the role of the coachman Igor. Alongside the human children Mina and Mats, and Elf assistant Claus, he embarks on an adventure to save Nissefather, Nisseland, and Christmas itself from the evil Wizard and his curse.

Vilhelm Krag – 150 years anniversary 

This year it's 150 years since Vilhelm Krag was born in Kristiansand. Based on Krag’s texts, a new theatrical production has been created with accompanying new songs. DET SKREIK EN FUGL... will be performed in Posebyhaven august 20th to 22nd august.
