Christmas concert at Lille DNS

Christmas is approaching, and while «As it is in heaven» has a short break until December 15, Jon Erik will participate in «Christmas Concert at Lille DNS». With a wonderful group of performers, led by musical director Helge Lilletvedt (piano), songs and stories will get the audience in the mood before the holidays hits us. The concert. The concert will be played from November 21st to December 20th.

SING ALONG: Swedish Hits – in Grieg Hall

While the Swedish musical "As It Is in Heaven" is on hiatus at Forum Scene, the ensemble has continued to delve into Sweden's rich musical repertoire. Now they have handpicked favorites for the Sing Along concert under the thousand starlights in the atmospheric foyer of the Grieg Hall.

As it is in Heaven

The Bergen adventure continues, this time at Den Nationale Scene with the musical As It Is in Heaven (Så som i himmelen), based on the Swedish film from 2004. The musical had its world premiere at Oscarsteatern in Stockholm in 2018 and has since been performed at Oslo Nye Teater, Nordland Teater, and Trøndelag Teater. Now, at last, the story comes to Bergen, and Jon Erik will take on the role of Holmfrid in this new production, directed by Lars Jacobsen.

Fiddler on the roof of Bergen

In May, Jon Erik heads west as Fyllingsdalen Teater presents its biggest production to date: "Fiddler on the Roof", performed under the open sky atop Bergen’s iconic Fløyen. Jon Erik will play the role of Mordche, the innkeeper of Anatevka, sharing the stage with Kristoffer Sagmo Aalberg (Tevye), Herborg Kråkevik (Golde), and a large ensemble of around 50 local performers.

A nordic christmas consert in London

In December, Jon Erik will travel to London to perform as a pianist and vocalist at the concert A NORDIC CHRISTMAS, alongside Martine Berg and Arthur Boan. The concert will take place on December 9 at Heath Street Baptist Church in Hampstead, and will feature Norwegian folk music and Nordic Christmas songs.

Another tour on the waves

In June and July, the D/S Hestmanden will once again set sail, this time heading west, and “The Lucky Ship” will make stops in Stavanger, Sandnes, and Skudeneshavn. New this year is Ronnie Mega Herdlevær joining the cast in the role of Oskar.

Premiere on a real SPECTACLE

Desperate power struggles in the Norwegian Labour Party in the late 1970s. Norwegian drama series based on truth, lies, and poor memory. Today, on February 11th, the final episode of the NRK series «POWER «PLAY is finally released. Here, Jon Erik plays the role of Christian Vennerød, one of the editors of Gateavisa.

Warsailors on tour

In July and August, D/S Hestmanden – Norwegian War Sailors Museum will be on a voyage, and THE LUCKY SHIP will be part of the journey. The ship will visit Langesund, Horten, and Moss, before staying in Oslo for almost two weeks. On the return in August, stops include Risør, Sandefjord, and finally Mandal. The performance will be staged in all ports.
