Kanon Produksjon returns to its hometown of Kristiansand with a brand-new world premiere. The production «Det som er igjen» by André Lassemo will premiere at Qvarteret Tap Room, in the former premises of Christiansand Bryggeri, and will run there from May 7–9.

In April, Jon Erik travels to Odda to take part in the production «Albert og Leonie». A musical about poverty, hope, work, and love – and about an endless sorrow. It is based on the true story of Albert Petersson and his young wife, Leonie. The musical portrays the rise of industrial communities in Norway and the beginning of Norway as a welfare state.

On Friday, February 6, 2026, the feature film KRAKEN will finally have its nationwide theatrical release across Norway. Jon Erik appears in the film in the role of Georg, who works at the salmon farming facility in the Sognefjord that is central to the film’s storyline and where several of the dramatic events take place. On Wednesday, February 4, the film had its preview screening at Bergen Kino, where several of the cast were present to celebrate the film.

From February 18–21, Jon Erik takes part in breathing new life into one of the most explosive musicals in theatre history: Hair. Over four evenings, Forum Scene is filled with the songs, energy, and spirit of rebellion that in 1967 shattered the boundaries of what theatre could be—and still can be. On stage, audiences will meet large parts of the ensemble and orchestra from "As it is in Heaven".

As It Is in Heaven, based on the Swedish film from 2004, has already been seen by more than 15,000 audience members, with standing ovations, strong audience reactions, and great enthusiasm. Bergens Tidende awarded the production five hearts after the premiere, while Dag og Tid described the performance as a musical tribute to music and love. Now even more people will have the opportunity to experience the production, throughout the winter and all the way until 14 February 2026.

In December, Jon Erik returns to London to once again take the stage as pianist and vocalist in A Nordic Christmas. Together with Martine Berg (vocals) and Arthur Boan (vocals and violin), he invites audiences to an atmospheric Christmas concert at the historic Heath Street Baptist Church in Hampstead on Saturday, December 13. Built in 1861, the beautiful church is renowned for its intimate atmosphere and acoustics that bring out even the smallest musical details.

Christmas is approaching, and while «As it is in heaven» has a short break until December 15, Jon Erik will participate in «Christmas Concert at Lille DNS». With a wonderful group of performers, led by musical director Helge Lilletvedt (piano), songs and stories will get the audience in the mood before the holidays hits us. The concert. The concert will be played from November 21st to December 20th.

While the Swedish musical "As It Is in Heaven" is on hiatus at Forum Scene, the ensemble has continued to delve into Sweden's rich musical repertoire. Now they have handpicked favorites for the Sing Along concert under the thousand starlights in the atmospheric foyer of the Grieg Hall.
